HR Facilitators

Reporting officer
Functional:           Cluster Head – HR
Administrative:   Unit Head

Role
Representative of Corporate HR at the Unit; responsible for employee relations and discipline; facilitator of policy implementation

Jobs:
1.       Maintenance of employee database;
2.       Maintain attendance (Biometric system)
3.       Build healthy functional relations with workers so as to be informed with the latest as also anticipated events – keeping these relations within effective zone is very important;
4.       Build healthy working relations with the trade union;
5.       Handle disciplinary matters in line with company policy and under guidance of the Legal cell;
6.       Maintain all disciplinary records and documents;
7.       Recruitment – coordinate screening of CVs, interviews, draft contracts, and joining formalities;
8.       Induction of new employees;
9.       Coordinate Fresher's training
10.   Keep track of retirements and separations;
11.   Coordinate appraisal reviews, employee feedback, improvement plans, and employee training;
12.   Facilitate implementation of HR policies and procedures;
13.   Monitor manpower cost ratios;
14.   Systems development:
a)       SOPs
b)       OCs
c)       Grievance redress mechanism
d)       HRIS
15.   Keep senior management informed;
16.   Handle visits by establishment authorities;
17.   Manage administrative support staff in the Unit;
18.   Prepare and send monthly reports to Corporate HR.

Qualifications
1.       MBA or Diploma in HR
2.       Non-MBAs with good HR experience can also apply
3.       Engineering background with good HR experience will be preferred
4.       Very good IT skills as a user, preferably some skill in software.

Experience
5 – 7 years similar experience as HR generalist at plant level
