As the HR Specialist, you serve as a generalist for the regional office staff and provide requested HR function support to our 18 countries within the region. As a key HR partner in the office, you will provide crucial transactional work (data entry, inquiry response, reporting) that support the regional HR team. You will be responsible for coordinating and leading full cycle recruitment for key country office positions, serve as the HR liaison to our headquarters staffing team, and assist in determining position salaries.

Responsibilities include:
Strategy
Assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of the HR Learning and Organizational Development strategy for the Asia Pacific Region.
Payroll & Compensation
Prepare payroll for up to 5 country offices. This includes compiling payroll information (tax returns, benefits, scheduling and approval). You'll have the opportunity to manage in-country nationals and support expat employees in their salary and benefit needs.
Benefits
Responsible for reviewing and conducting market analysis on full benefit package offerings. This also includes keeping abreast of current benefit changes in responsible country offices.
Administration
Contracts administration, talent management and assistance in the monitoring and development of employee plans.
Recruitment
Responsible for coordinating and/or leading the full cycle recruitment for regional and key country office positions. You will be responsible for creating job postings, developing a recruiting strategy and coordinating with the onboarding process.
Outcome reporting
Responsible for facilitating and implementing the HFHI performance management system and to improve the performance management practices of managers. This includes creating policies to correct issues in fields that include equal opportunity, employment, onboarding, gender equality and harassment.
Ideally, we need an HR generalist who has around 5 years' experience in the multiple disciplines within human resource management. We need someone who is computer suave, understands the demands and confidential nature of HR, and an individual who has worked in a multi-cultural work context.
Required Experience:
-5 years of work experience in multiple HR functions such as recruitment, compensation & benefits and employee relations
-Bachelor degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology or any related field.
-Strong technical experience in recruitment, compensation, and benefit/employee relations
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-The ability to handle multiple tasks and ability to attend details with a remarkable eye for detail
-Strong critical and negotiation skills
Preferred Experience
-Experience working in an international organization, NGO experience a plus
-MBA OR MS in Human Resource Management; Professional License or Qualification in HR (PHR); HR Professional membership
