Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will support the overseas programme offices with the accounting, reporting and control activities to ensure they are carried out efficiently, effectively and in line with best practice. In addition, you will provide support and advice to our Partner Organisations in other countries.
You will be responsible for co-ordinating major procurement processes in the UK and at international programme offices. You will lead on the development and drive the implementation of standardised financial policies and procedures and support our programme offices. In addition you will be required to support the programmes team in the development of partner financial assessment, reporting and capacity building tools.
Good computer skills, including familiarity with financial software packages, Microsoft Word and Excel are essential. As is the ability and willingness to travel regularly to overseas partners and programmes.
