Based in either GALVmed Nairobi office or New Delhi office
with extensive international travel
GALVmed (Global Alliance for Livestock Veterinary Medicines) is a not-for-profit organisation whose mission is to develop livestock vaccines, medicines and diagnostics to benefit the poorest livestock keepers in the developing world. GALVmed is conducting R & D projects in collaboration with partners worldwide for the development of the required products. GALVmed is looking for a Veterinary Clinical Research Officer who will coordinate and monitor related laboratory and clinical research work for these products.
Interested? If you have........
- A BSc in Biological Sciences or equivalent
- Experience of conducting clinical trials in animals for research and registration purposes would be an advantage
- The ability to conduct monitoring of studies in the field
- The ability to ensure that studies are adequately controlled and documented.
- The ability to assist GALVmed partners in achieving required working standards
- The ability to assist with international sample, document and consumable shipments
- The ability to assist in other R & D tasks such as literature searches, electronic document libraries, sample & document management.
- Experience in conducting registration trials
- Knowledge, and preferably experience with Good Clinical Practices and Good Laboratory Practices
- Ideally, experience of working in developing countries
