Banque Populaire du Rwanda, the leading retail bank in Rwanda wishes to recruit focused, results-oriented and suitably qualified professionals to fill the following position:

 

Senior Marketing officer – Branch based marketing (1 position)

(Reporting to Head of Marketing and product development)

Department: Marketing and Product development  

DUTY STATION: Kigali  

DATE OF ISSUE: 4/12/2014                      

DATE OF CLOSURE: 15/12/2014

 

The successful candidate will work as an active member of BPR's marketing and communications team, taking responsibility of all branch marketing activities and needs, ensuring that the BPR brand, its products and services are promoted appropriately in all BPR branch locations. Specifically the candidate will:

-          Identify, together with branches, the various marketing needs and recommend actions needed to address the needs, and ensure that they are attended to.

-          Be the focal point for branches at head office on all marketing related activities and needs. 

-          Participate in the development of various marketing concepts, objectives, materials, adverts, programs, press releases and other special events of the bank---mainly giving views on what best suits the various branches.

-          Engage branches on actively undertaking marketing activities.

-          Work with branches to ensure that branch personnel are conveying the correct brand image of the bank and marketing standards.

-          Ensure that branches are adequately supplied with marketing collateral.

 

 

                Qualifications experiences and attributes

 

-          A university degree in either marketing, communication, public relations or any other related field;

-          At least 2 years experience in the field of marketing or communication;

-          Good communication skills; oral and written knowledge of English and Kinyarwanda; French would be an added advantage.

-          Ability to liaise and coordinate activities across a wide network and assert the required changes.

-          Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision,

-          Good interpersonal and organizational skills;

-
