That's why our Information Specialists are so crucial to keeping everything running smoothly - knowing how to protect the information coming into the business while making it visible internally to the right people at the right time and in the right way.

How can you secure social media? How do you allow access to our intranet at different levels? We'll look to you to manage, design and provide the solutions that keep not just our information protected, but our entire nation too.

With media, press, government or news-based experience, you'll have a CILIP approved degree, or have achieved CILIP Chartership and have experience of professional information work, or have NVQ level 4 or equivalent library and experience of professional information work.

You'll be future-focused and able to apply creative thinking to every task. You'll enjoy a wide variety of work, across multiple platforms. Most of all, you'll be flexible and innovative in your approach to dealing with highly sensitive, unique and often fascinating information.

To apply to GCHQ you must be a born or naturalised British citizen, over 18 years old and normally have lived in the UK for nine of the last ten years. You should not discuss your application other than with your partner or a close family member, providing that they are British. They should also be made aware of the importance of discretion.
