Job Summary
Cardno is seeking a Facility Assessor with an emphasis in mechanical or electrical in our Jacksonville, FL office.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
> Perform assessments of client facilities using professional expertise and judgment to determine physical condition and conformance with specifications and building codes
> Use standard mechanical and electrical instruments and gauges
> Work under direct supervision and in accordance with instructions and standard practices
> Inspect large complexes, including mechanical systems and subcomponents and supporting electrical systems
>Please note, this is a project based position and schedule will vary, part-time to full-time hours that will vary week to week based on the need of the client.

Basic Qualifications:
>Bachelor's degree
> 5 years of experience
> Knowledge of building mechanical systems or building electrical systems
> Mechanical or Electrical system knowledge
> Experience using software tools
> Good technical writing skills required
> Good mathematical aptitude required
> Willing and able to travel 50%
