Cardno ENTRIX is seeking a Cultural Resource Specialist in our Anchorage, AK office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
> Project Management, including project-specific management of budget, staff, and schedule; Phase I, II, and III investigations and archaeological monitoring
> Preparation of technical reports
> Analysis of project impacts on archaeological resources under NEPA and NHPA
> Coordination with local, state, and federal agencies
> Mentoring of junior-level staff

Basic Qualifications:
> Satisfaction of the Secretary of the Interior's Professional Qualification Standards for Archaeology is required
> Minimum of fifteen years of project management experience
> Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with experience managing a staff of 5-10 field archaeologists and providing project oversight
> Experience managing both large-scale archaeological surveys and data recovery projects
> Must have significant experience in remote Alaska, coordinating with Alaskan Natives and describing Traditional Knowledge and subsistence practices
> Must demonstrate multi-year experience as Principal Investigator on complex projects
> Must have experience with being responsible for progressive assignments involving cultural resources management and archaeology with a demonstrated proficiency in both areas
