Project Implementation Consultant For Energy Sector Management Capacity Strengthening Project
The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania, through the Ministry of Energy and Minerals (MEM) has requested Sweden to contribute to the implementation of the Capacity Development of MEM through the financing of the Energy Sector Management Capacity Strengthening Project. The overall objective(s) of the Project is increased access to modern' energy services through enhanced availability, reliability and affordability of energy supplies that are friendly to the environment. The project shall be carried out in accordance with the Energy Sector Management Capacity Strengthening document dated March 2013.
A Specific Agreement has been signed between the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania and
Sweden for financing of the project costs through a grant.
MEM intends to apply part of the grant proceeds to procure services of a Project Implementation
Consultant.
The Embassy of Sweden on behalf of the Ministry of Energy and Minerals (MEM) issued an invitation
For Expression of Interests (EoIs) from interested eligible firms for the above services on 29 October 2014.
A complete invitation for EoIs document that include detailed Terms of Reference (ToRs) is available from the Embassy of Sweden upon submission of a written request. The Embassy of Sweden has issued
Addendum N° I to clarify the submission and technical evaluation criteria and process.
Applicants should make arrangements for the collection of the Addendum N° 1 to the EoI documents from the Embassy of Sweden. All correspondence from interested applicants must be in accordance with the EoI documents and Addendum N° 1 and must be sent on official letterhead by email, hand delivery or registered mail/courier.
