Salary:
 € 20 055 gross per annum
Part-time: (Monday to Friday – 18 hours per week)

Our Secretariat is based in Oxford, with advocacy and campaigns offices in Washington DC, New York, Brussels, Geneva, Brasilia and a liaison office with the Africa Union in Addis Ababa.

Our office in Brussels is looking for a highly qualified Personal Assistant to provide secretarial and administrative support to the Director of Advocacy and Campaigns in the day to day running of a fast moving department.
The successful post-holder will have excellent prioritization skills and proven ability to undertake varied tasks simultaneously, to tight deadlines. He/She will be extremely detail-oriented and exhibit a highly adaptable and flexible approach to work. He/she will have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, a high degree of tenacity and initiative combined with high levels of discretion and diplomacy is essential.
He/she will have the opportunity to work in a multicultural environment and will have to communicate widely within the Advocacy and Campaigns department, as well as other external Oxfam staff, affiliates and partners. Fluency in written and spoken English, is essential as are excellent time management skills.
Competence in other European languages, especially French, is desirable. Good working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office software is expected. Experience in development is not essential but transferable skills and alternative experience is of interest. 

Candidates must have the legal right to be employed in Belgium.
