The National institute for Medical Research (NIMR) is a ParastataI Organization under the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare. The Institute is charged with carrying out, controlling coordinating, registering, monitoring and promoting Health Research in Tanzania. NIMR through the funding from Walter Reed Army Institute of Research is seeking to recruit competent staff for the following positions in its Project titled "Malaria Transmission in Tanzania" to be conducted at Mgambo National Service Camp in Tanga Region.
Nurse Assistant -2 Posts
Accountability
The Nurse Assistant will be accountable in the first instance to the Project Coordinator.
Qualifications and Experiences
* Holder of certificate in nursing from a recognized institution.
* Training in Public Health Nursing will be an added advantage.
* Good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Swahili.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide general nursing care and collecting samples from study participants.
* Record keeping of study participants' data and in confidence.
* Perform any other related duties assigned to him/her

* The project will be implemented for six months (6) months and therefore successful applicants will be awarded a six months employment contract.
* Attractive salary plus fringe benefits will be offered commensurate with experience.
