The communications intern position will support internal and external communications activities and assist the communications team.
Key tasks and responsibilities may include:
- Media relation: support the director of communication for o Media monitoring
- Assist in the production of press releases
- Update and maintain DIGITALEUROPE contact and media list
- Proofread texts and articles
- Assist the creation of content for the Social Network platforms
- Support to the events team on the organisation of key events (drafting invitations, list of participants, logistic, etc.)
- Look for event and speaking opportunities
- Other administrative duties
Required competencies and skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills – English native speaker preferably, other languages are an asset.
- Interest in the digital industry.
- Excellent organisational, teamwork and communication skills.
- Enthusiastic and proactive attitude with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- IT literate: MS-office (Outlook, Excel, Access and Word).
- At least, one year of experience in a similar position.
Type & length of the internship:
Initially, the communications intern position is a 6 months contract. This is a paid internship.
This position reports to the Marketing and Events Manager.
Expected starting date : as soon as possible.
