Restless Development Tanzania has successfully secured a number of new partnerships over the last year from a range of bi-lateral and multi-lateral donors, trusts and foundations. As the agency has grown the donor reporting and external communications requirements have increased. We are also regularly conducting and publicising our own youth-led research.
We are looking for an expert communicator to provide editorial support to deliver high quality donor reports, research summaries and other publications. From time to time there will also be the opportunity to provide coaching for key staff members to build capacity to deliver high quality reports and other communications.
The postholder will have excellent written English and experience of writing and editing high quality written communications including donor and research reports, collating and summarising inputs and adapting existing materials. The individual will have a good understanding of development issues and preferably a relevant qualification. The post holder will ideally be based in Tanzania however we would also consider individuals based overseas.
