ROLE PURPOSE STATEMENT
Provide functional level support for inventory and reservations systems in order to ensure optimal operations. Also to manage user account and office profiles

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
•Upload and update network schedules without errors to ensure accurate display at all times. Perform periodic audits to check parity of information between GDS and ARS
•Create and maintain all necessary reference tables to ensure accurate system set-up to deliver an efficient and optimized reservation process.

•Creation of time initiated packages which control shooting of PNLs to DCS and Catering Lists (PBC) to the Catering Department.
•Coordinating with Kale to make sure that BIDT reports are delivered in time
•Ensure all City Pairs necessary to maximize the PW network are set up in the system
•Create and maintain Pseudo Cities for PW offices for effective communication and access.
•Serve as a help desk for functional queries on RM, Reservations, Revenue Integrity and GDS systems ensuring resolution of cases within the stipulated SLAs
•Handle and resolve day to day help desk queries related to inventory discrepancies so as to ensure the integrity/accuracy of the information in the GDSs.
•Verify system generated errors and adjust business rules to resolve or escalate to vendors for resolution as appropriate
•Design training curriculum for CRS functions and use the same for training of new staff
•Monitor and Analyze GDS costs to identify areas of wastage for corrective action
•Provide reports on GDS activity and recommend strategies that can optimize distribution
•Generate defined periodic reports for management information
•Analyze GDS/ARS invoices to ensure billing accuracy
•Implement and maintain Business Rules as defined for all systems
•Implement defined system access securities and carry out emergency lock as defined
•Participate in project teams as assigned from time to time

•Maintain Data centre environmental conditions as per defined standards and take corrective action.
•Secure (seal) backups tapes and ensure they are transported safely to and from offsite storage.
•Carry on second level security administration for both Software and IT-Related hardware in the company.
•Carry out second level IS support and administrative tasks as necessary to enable the IS Operations users carry out their duties effectively.

•Handle telephone & email enquiries as regards travel information.
