Position: Accountant
Job Description
- Filing invoices & expenses
- Reporting to head office
- Preparation of budgets and cash flows
- Coordination with authorities, including TRA, NHIF, WCF and PPF
- Preparing payroll statements
- Preparing and filing contracts for staff and suppliers
- Archiving
- Coordination with suppliers & vendors
- Management of petty cash/ Mpesa
- Responsible for monitoring stationery levels regularly and process the ordering needs;
following up on procurement orders and delivery.
Ensuring compliance with administrative procedures and availability of forms§
Assist in coordination of flight, transportation and hotel booking for staff and visitors§
Ensure timely submission of invoices§
Ensure that procedures for the acquisition of goods and services are respected.§
Maintenance of the asset register§
Maintain personal records§

Position Requirements
Accounting /finance or business degree/CPA/ACCA or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in a position of responsibility in administration and/or finance
- experience with financial reporting;
- Perfect knowledge of QuickBooks or any other financial software package
- Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good knowledge/exposure of tax laws and labour laws.
