Position:  Accountant

Job Description

- Filing invoices & expenses
- Reporting to head office
- Preparation of budgets and cash flows
- Coordination with authorities, including TRA, NHIF, WCF and PPF
- Preparing payroll statements
- Preparing and filing contracts for staff and suppliers
- Archiving
- Coordination with suppliers & vendors
- Management of petty cash/ Mpesa
- Responsible for monitoring stationery levels regularly and process the ordering needs;
following up on procurement orders and delivery.
 Ensuring compliance with administrative procedures and availability of forms
§
 Assist in coordination of flight, transportation and hotel booking for staff and visitors
§
 Ensure timely submission of invoices
§
 Ensure that procedures for the acquisition of goods and services are respected.
§
 Maintenance of the asset register
§
 Maintain personal records
§

Position Requirements

Accounting /finance or business degree/CPA/ACCA or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in a position of responsibility in administration and/or finance
- experience with financial reporting;
- Perfect knowledge of QuickBooks or any other financial software package
- Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good knowledge/exposure of tax laws and labour laws.
