Project Description:
We are currently preparing for anticipated USAID and USDA funded development projects in East Africa. A sample of current and former projects in the region includes: resilience and food security in Madagascar; dairy production and value chain infrastructure in Mozambique; farmer livelihood and livestock productivity in Zambia; livelihood and food security in Kenya; and nutrition and agriculture production in Ethiopia. Position Summary and Primary Responsibilities:
We are looking for expressions of interest from experienced and qualified development professionals specialized in the following technical areas:
- Gender and youth;
- Climate change/ environment; and
- Natural resource management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field of expertise;
- 8+ years of experience in technical area;
- Experience working on international projects; and
- Fluency in English.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree;
- Development work experience in the region;
- Local language ability; and
- Experience working on USAID or USDA-funded projects.
