3 #ACCOUNTANTS JOB VACANCY

Global Skill on behalf of a client in Tourism industry in SERENGETI and NGORONGORO is looking to recruit well-motivated TWO ACCOUNTANTS and ONE JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT

Full financial responsibility for lodge finance requirements, including

·      Monitor cost control procedures and develop and implement improved processes where necessary

·      Monitoring of stock control

·      Daily stock issues and recording of stock transactions

·      Placing stock orders with Arusha office and local suppliers

·      Daily, weekly and monthly stock takes

·      Controlling petty cash requirements and disbursements

·      Controlling and capturing NCAA card transactions

·      Recording of local and regional purchases

·      Reconciling control accounts and providing feedback to the regional office

·      Able to work well within a team environment

 

Reporting of monthly budget variances as per monthly management accounts

·      Full stock & procurement responsibility for lodge finance requirements, including

·      Monitoring and implementing necessary controls to safeguard the lodges assets and stock

·      Ensure stock issuances are in line with usage requirements

·      Raise and liaise with centralised procurement for stock requirements

·      Take part in weekly/monthly finance meeting with your HOD/Lodge management

 

Knowledge required:

·      Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Accounting or an equivalent 3-year qualification

·      At least 2yrs of experience in Accounts background

·      Microsoft Outlook and Word

·      Extended knowledge in Excel

·      Quick Books or similar accounting package

·      Administration skills

·      One year Hotel or Game Lodge experience would be an advantage
