The Tabora Urban Water and Sanitation Authority is one of the competitively best Authorities in Tanzania water sector, supplying clean and safe water and efficient Sanitation services in Tabora Municipality. The Authority is seeking for qualifying candidates for the post here under.

Accountant II (1 POST)

Entry Qualification
Holder of Degree in Accounts or equivalent qualification in accounting with CPA and registered with NBAA. Computer accounting
packages are necessary.
Must have Good working knowledge of ICT Applications and not less than three years' experience in related field/works.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepares and submits to Finance Manager financial plans and budgets before the end of the financial year.
Keeps books of accounts relating to revenue grants and expenses accurately and timely according to accounting standards established by NBAA. , ,
Recommends accounting policies and procedures to management through the Finance Manager
Facilitates the audit of books of accounts by external auditors within the-required legal period and presents them to the Board of Directors.
Responds to all internal and external audit queries accurately and timely.
Develops individual performance objectives, targets and standards in consultation with the immediate superior as part of performance agreement.
Performs any other duties as may be assigned by Finance Manager.
Age Limit: Not above 45

Assistant Procurement Officer II (1 POST)
The successful candidate reports to the Procurement Office-r; shall insure the performance of all procurement systems according to agreed performance and PPRA standards. Must have Good working knowledge of ICT Applications and not less than three years' experience in related field/works.

Entry Qualification
Holder of Diploma in Procurement or equivalent qualification. Must have Good working knowledge of ICT Applications and not less than three years' experience in related field/works.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Processes procurement tenders as per approved policies and procedures.
Opens and maintains case files for each local order.
Maintains register of all contracts and ordered goods.
Checks supplies contracts to ensure they are acceptable.
Assists the Procurement Officer in carrying out market surveys to identify sources of supply, threats and opportunities in the market place.
Develops individual performance objectives, targets and standards in consultation with the immediate superior as part of performance agreement.
Performs any other duties as may be assigned by Procurement Officer.

Age Limit: Not above 45

Procurement Officer II (1 POST)
The successful candidate reports to the Head of Procurement Management Unit; shall insure the performance of all procurement systems according to agreed performance and PPRA standards. Must have Good working knowledge of ICT Applications and management skills not less than three years' experience in related field/works.

Entry Qualification
Holder of a Bachelor degree/Advance Diploma in Procurement/ Logistics Management with CPSP or equivalent. Holder of Master's
Degree will be an added advantage. Registered with NBMM

Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinates procurement of materials and services in compliance with the authority's tendering and ordering procedures.
Identifies materials requirements for the Authority, makes timely procurement at minimum cost and with due regard to user specifications
Recommends to the departmental heads standards and procedures for the acquisition, storage and issue of all materials and services required for the proper operations and maintenance of the TUWASA systems.

Establishes, evaluates and maintains reliable primary and secondary sources of material supply to ensure continuity of the Authority's operations. .
Develops individual performance objectives, targets and standards in consultation with the immediate superior as part of the individual performance agreement.
Performs any other official duties as may be assigned by Management.
