Objective:

To develop and manage external Business Intelligence data base about market, products, competition and general trends in order to enable identification of opportunities for product and services development, enhancement and grow market share.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. To assess the effectiveness of TTCL's actions to the market which includes launching of new products and services, prices, promotions, advertisements and corporate social responsibility activities and providing recommendations on areas of improvement
  2. To be responsible for external market analysis, segmentation or differentiation, demand forecast and identifying strategies to increase or retain existing market share.
  3. To Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative research plans for TTCL's products in all stages of the Product Life Cycle and work with market research vendors to oversee the fieldwork research activities/initiative
  4. To Assess the effectiveness of TTCL's actions to the wider market i.e. Launch of new products and services, prices, promotions, advertisements and corporate social responsibility activities and providing recommendations on areas of improvement.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • To ensure a SMART plan that builds and maintains up-to-date market data and intelligence to enable TTCL grow her market share across targeted segments

PROFILE/KEY COMPETENCIES

  • At least a University degree in Telecommunications, Economics, Statistics or Business Administration/Commerce majoring in Marketing, or any other relevant qualification from a recognized Institution
  • Good     understanding     of    key     trends,    products     and     services     evolution     in    the telecommunication industry
  • Good  understanding  and  demonstrated  skills  in  market  research  methodologies  and techniques
  • Excellent ability to use statistical techniques and tools to interpret data and make valid conclusions
  • Three  (3)  years  working  experience  in  marketing  especially  in  telecommunications environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving ability.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
