Knowledge Management Communications Specialist
MONTROSE is an international development project management and consultancy company providing support to clients operating in the developing world. Specialized in the sectors of health, education, rural livelihoods and private sector development, our clients include bilateral and multilateral development agencies, the private sector, Non-Governmental Organizations and other development stakeholders.
Montrose is looking for a Knowledge Management Communications Specialist for a key role for a programme on use of extractive industry data in Africa and Asia. The programme aims to increase communities, civil society, government and industry access to user-friendly data related to the extractive industry. The programme will include several country pilots in Africa and Asia and run for four years. More information on the project is available for shortlisted candidates.
Key responsibilities:
  • Support the design of the country data pilots including the presentation of data for different users
  • Oversee programmers developing Open Data management platforms
  • Manage the cross-country extractive data platform
  • Coordinate the packaging and dissemination of learning from the country pilots at country, regional and international levels
Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualification in KMC or related discipline
  • 5 years' experience of working in KMC related to international development and/or extractive industry projects
  • Knowledge and experience of using Open Data
  • Willingness to travel
