Salary: circa $180,000 with full benefits
We seek to hire an indigenous East African Business Development Manager to be based in East Africa with sufficient technical & commercial credibility to gain access to the key decision makers for contract purchases within the major Oil & Gas operators & their Tier One suppliers in East Africa.
Our client is the oil & gas division of a large international engineering, project management, consultancy group with US$1bn t/o co. employing 7500 globally & with many offices in Africa.
Strong candidates will have developed a wide network of senior influential contacts including relevant politicians, corporate leaders & other major influencers within the above four countries.
Career prospects for the chosen candidate are exceptional within this rapidly expanding global group only established in 2009.
Desired Skills and Experience
A strong track record of developing, cultivating & converting significant contract enquiries in the area will be required.
The target customers are BG, Total, Tullow, ENI, Anadarko, CNOOC, Ophir etc & their Tier One suppliers operations based in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda & Mozambique.
