Cardno ENTRIX is seeking a Sr. Project Scientist/Water Resources in our Anchorage, AK office.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

> Responsible for providing water resource expertise on a variety of projects in the private and public sector, including but not limited to NEPA documents, FERC filing, siting analysis, permitting requirements, and others
> Coordinate as part of interdisciplinary needs to provide broad-based consultation to Clients will provide senior technical advice and guidance to a wide variety of clients on water resources
> The candidate will be an important interface with many areas of Cardno's work including natural resources, remediation, government services, and many others and must be a positive communicator and drive wide partnerships and synergies

Basic Qualifications:

> Graduate degree (M.A. or M.S) is required
> 10-15 years of experience is preferred, but significant project work may be substituted
> Experience in Alaska and/or Arctic conditions is required
> At least 3 years of more advanced levels of client management are preferred, either as project manager or task manager
> Experience marketing skills and experiences is required
> Ability to direct, conduct, and teach field work is a necessity
> Experience with supervising or mentoring staff
> Knowledge of the laws, regulations, and permits that protect the water resources of Alaska and how to successful work within those laws and regulations
> Excellent problem solving skills and data analysis skills
> Have a strong knowledge base or expertise in hydrologic or hydraulic fundamentals, computer modeling, and stormwater management plans
> Have a familiarity with wetlands evaluations
> Willingness to travel for seasonal field work
