Tanzania Federation of Co-operatives (TFC) Ltd is the National Umbrella Organization that promotes services and coordinates the development and prosperity of all co-operative societies in Tanzania.
Tanzania Federation of Co-operatives seeks to recruit a new staff in the following position.
Job Title: Chief Accountant (1)
Duties and Responsibility:
1. Overall in charge of the day to day affairs of the accounts department.
2. Shall plan and organize departmental activities and promptly submit periodic financial and administrative reports including cash flows projection.
3. Shall ensure proper accounting and control of capital and revenue expenditure. .
4. Shall maintain staff welfare and develop effective personnel management services.
5. Shall review financial budget and cash flow projections
6. Shall facilitate auditing of books of accounts by the internal and external auditors.
7. Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Secretary.
Qualification and Experience:
Holder of '0 Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent from a recognized institution with CPA (T) or its equivalent. Must be registered with NBAA in the category of authorized Accountant.
Diploma in Co-operative Management will be an added advantage.
Other skills.
Computer knowledge of spread sheet and database Microsoft.
High Integrity with administrative and managerial level for a period of eight (8) years out of which five years should be in Accounting Finance or Management:
