Preferred Qualifications & Experience Requirements: 


Experience in Performance Management and RF Optimization of LTE networks
  • Fundamental understanding of LTE (eNodeB, RNC) Pref: Samsung/ Ericsson/ ALU/ Motorola
  • Competent understanding of LTE optimization parameters definitions and both performance and capacity impacts (active/idle mode) at both BTS and BSC level
  • Competent understanding of both idle and active mode call processing and able to design
  • Able to make parameter changes to network on appropriate vendor platform
  • Competent in capacity/PN planning
  • Competent in frequency/PN interference analysis and coordination
  • Excellent MS Office/Actix skills
  • Automation of optimization tasks – Programming Skills
  • Application development and deployment, Web based development, User interface design and development, Object oriented programming concepts.
  • C#, Core Java, J2EE, WEB Language: JavaScript, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, HTML, DHTML, XML, DBMS, MS-Access, SQL Server
  • WEB / Application Tools: Ecllipse, Netbeans, Putty, WinSCP, SQLyog, Toad
  • Operating System: Windows, Linux, Unix, Ubuntu)
  • Excel Macros; Visual Basic
The above mentioned role may be based in Tanzania or Uganda.
