Objective

The global objective is to support the implementation of rural road network policies and global strategies at local level, by helping set up a sustainable system and reinforcing the capacities of local government in this domain.

EXPERTS PROFILE

General professional experience

Postgraduate in a relevant field with related technical expertise.

Excellent written and spoken English and fair knowledge of French are required.

Knowledge of the local language will be considered an asset.

Successful candidates should have:

At least 15 years working experience in the field of Roads engineering

Experience in the field of procurement and contract management

Prior experience in the field of HIMO

Excellent communication skills and organisational capacity

Experience in training and organisation of training courses.

The intended commencement date is the 1st of February 2015 and the period of execution of the contract will be 5 months maximum.
