Job Summary
We are seeking an exp'd Financial Accountant for a 6-mth contract in our Group Finance team. Commercial experience & statutory reporrting req'd. Global head office.
Key Responsibilities
Specifically, your duties will include –
- Assisting with month end process and preparation of the groups consolidated financial results
- Administering our Balance Sheet reconciliation tool including system maintenance and the roll out of training across the group
- Balance Sheet reconciliations and approvals for divisions
- Management and KPI reporting for the Board and senior management including analysis
- Assisting with statutory reporting at half year and year end
- Loading overseas subsidiary and new merger partner Profit & Loss results
Other Requirements
To be successful you will display –
- Tertiary qualifications in Business and/or Commerce coupled with CA/CPA qualifications (or near completion)
- Demonstrated experience in financial reporting within a commercial environment
- Excellent communication skills to deliver financial information to a non-financial audience and deliver training
- An enthusiastic and outgoing personality to promote a positive work environment and engage with the business
- Well-developed time management skills to be able to prioritise competing tasks and manage stakeholder expectations
- Strong systems skills and ability to identify process improvements and efficiencies
