Our largest operations are in Tanzania where Mobisol has established a strong sales base as well as a qualified and highly motivated local team of over 80 employees. Mobisol Ltd has been established in 2013 to foster and expand our operations within the Tanzanian market and accompany our growth in East Africa.

 

As part of our expansion plan in Tanzania, Mobisol Ltd is looking for Technical Network Manager for our new office in Mwanza Region.

Job requirements

  

The Technical Network Manager is responsible to train and manage the current and future Technicians coming on board to Mobisol's standards.

 

The responsibilities include but not limited to:

 

Managerial functions        

 

  • Supervise the Technical  coordinators
  • Recruit the Installation and Maintenance Technicians as per Mobisol's Technicians

 

recruitment criteria

  • Ensure the growth of the Fundi network throughout Mobisol's target areas
  • Regularly update all the documents related to his tasks (Installation Technician  and Maintenance Technician  Contracts, licenses when expired)
  • Prepare monthly report of monthly activities and share with Supervisor
  • Prepare and controlling monthly commission payments for the Technicians – using the maintenance sheet, sky drive sheets and customer satisfaction sheet as reference.

Normal Tasks

  • Ensure all the Technical  coordinators are equipped with the necessary equipment for their work e.g. laptop ,means of transport (car),tools ,phones ,air times,
  • Close monitoring with Technical coordinator to ensure all issues are resolved in a timely manner as well ensure installations were done correctly especially for new recruited Installation Technicians
  • Prepare action plan on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
  • Coordinate with other departments like:
    • Distribution department for accuracy of stock and distribution of spare controller and reporting of the deliver from the hub
    • Technical department for any update of any new version or any technical information about solar controller.
    • Customer care for any problem concerning installation and maintenance with any update from technician performance.
  • Hold regular meetings with the Technical coordinators in the field.
  • Ensure all Technician training materials are prepared prior to their training.
  • Enter sales of extra appliances in to the database done by our service hub from the maintenance hub like Monduli and Lokisale.
  • Ensure the Technicians submit all the document for the system installed at the last day of each month
  • Payment preparation and follow up maintenance case report for ensuring the performance of the technical coordinator in every monthly as he/she is good in excel .
  • Planning, monitoring and follow up with technical coordinator to ensure the performance of the installation and maintenance technician.
  • Cross checking for the database technical alert for every system installed in every week.
  • Updating and checking the file we share in the drop box and database.
  • File arrangement and documantation for easy flow of information to other department.
  • Responsible for the follow up of student after complete academy for their  progress.
  • He/she  is more responsible for reporting of monthly activities we perform as those technical coordinator will report to her and make proper reporting of what were done in every monthly.

Specialized tasks

  • Train the Technicians to Mobisol's Standards – ( Makie Technicians training standards)
  • Approve Installation Technician to be a Maintenance Technician

Work / information Process

 

  • Technical Network manager reports to the  supervisor on  general monthly reports on activities undertaken during the month – no of Technicians recruited, challenges, and number of installations done in that particular month.

 

 

Qualifications and skills required:

 

  •  Bachelor Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with the assembly, installation and maintenance of solar products and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent management skills in keeping records of electrical operations, payrolls and timesheets
  • Experience of  at least 1 year
  • Ability to manage team  of 10+ maintenance & installation technician efficiently
  • Good computer skills especially MS Excel
