As part of our expansion plan in Tanzania, Mobisol Ltd is looking for Market Hub Coordinator for our new office in Mwanza Region.

The main role of the Market Hub Monitoring Officer is to manage a designated cluster of Mobisol's network of Market Hub Operators as well as a Market Hub Operator Assistants.MHO Coordinator will hence directly be responsible for the performances of a cluster of designated Market Hubs within a specific area/zone.

 

The responsibilities include but not limited to:

 

Coordination of the MHOs

  • Regular Communication with MHOs and MHO Assistant, maintain a record, analyze this record and provide a weekly and monthly report to the Zonal MH Supervisor with copy to the Head of Department on Performance of a MHO and his/her Assistant, field activities, All problems experienced internally and externally by the MHO Coordinator.
  • Communicate in a usable format, field information, and provide feedback to the rest of the team(MH supervisor, MH Development officer, Monitoring Team Leader) on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure that MHOs have the appropriate working tools in their hubs like T-shirts, caps, banners, flyers, Customer Qualification Forms, Sales Agents record sheets, daily sales record forms, Blank Contracts, Inventory sheets, mobile phones with latest mTawi version, Suggestion boxes and suggestion slips, Demo system, Mobicharger, TV and Radio on display and  working as well as all other supporting tools.
  • Ensure that all MHOs are paid in full and in a timely manner as agreed with them and make sure there are no complaints regarding their payments by making follow up with the MH Supervisor assigned with this task is a priority.
  • Work together with Market hub supervisor, Market hub Development officer to ensure separate flat files are maintained for each MHO. Reminders for New trainings, contract renewals and expiry, cautions and warning letters, ID copies, MHO's Quartely meeting minutes records, performance evaluation information, performance records and any other relevant information pertaining to the MHO and MHO Assistant who are doing sales in the Market Hubs are maintained in an appropriate manner.
  • Liaise with Sales and Marketing coordinators to order of new marketing materials will need to be placed in a timely manner to make sure MHOs and MHO Assistant are continuously equipped.
  • Liaise with Sales and Marketing Coordinators to Initiate, organize, oversee and analyze Marketing Activities and Events in and around allocated Market Hubs and markets within Market Hub proximity to assist the MHO in marketing.

 

  • After Regular visits Training and re-training if needed of MHO and MHO Assistant (Old and New) needs to be provided to under performing MHs, Market Hub visit assessments to evaluate their performance after every end of the Month and update the Market hub supervisor.
  • Liaise with Monitoring team for new updates and training points.

Work / information Process

 

Reporting:

  • The Market Hub Operator Coordinator is reporting directly to the Market Hub Supervisor.
  • The incumbent will work closely with the Zone-specific Market Hub Supervisor and the Market Hub Distribution officer.

Authority:

  • The Market Hub Operator Coordinator (MHO – Coordinator) has disciplinary and technical authority over the Market Hub Operator and Assistant MHO, Sales Agents, Installation Technicians and Maintenance Technicians.

 

Job requirement Qualifications and skills required: 
  • Bachelor of Science in Operation Management, Bachelor of Arts in project planning Management (BA-PPM), BA in Sociology, BA in Project Management or Operation related field is also preferred.
  • 1+ Years of experience in related field with Minimum of 2 years in Monitoring and evaluation experience.
  • Highly proficient in excel and comfortable with quantitative analysis
  • Strong sense of urgency and deadline driven
  • Highly- Organized with clear dissemination and collection of information to/from a team.
  • Ability to research, reconcile and communicate business data
  • Willingness to travel domestically in geographic Zone assigned.
  • Fluent in CO- Specific language and English.
