Job description
The purpose of the role is to deliver sustainable profitable growth for the UK Oil & Gas Rental business. Reporting to the General Manager the successful candidate must communicate a positive can do attitude, be proactive, and self-motivated with the ability to deliver consistent regular progressive results, whilst identifying new sector opportunities for our products and services.
Key Responsibilities
Optimise rental prospects, customers and opportunities, market sectors / segments, products and services that will bring sustainable and profitable growth to this UK oil & gas rental business. Identify applications, projects and opportunities and follow up to successful closure.Actively participate in group meetings with regular interaction communications and reports including marketing intelligence.Maintain and update communications across the management and sales team by optimizing company Proactive Sales Management tools including the Customer Management Relationship (CRM) tool ( saleforce ) and Net Promoter Score on a daily basis.Improve our customer base through regular interaction and customer care communications.Liase and interact with other managers and colleagues within rental to optimize consolidated results.Maximize our presence and market share within UKCS rental for where there are applications for Atlas Copco products.Deliver KPIs that will allow us to meet the set company goals and targets.Undertake ad-hoc sales work and perform related duties as may be requested by the General Manager.
Experience requirements
A minimum 2 years' experience in oil & gas offshore sector, or sales experience with knowledge of applications and products offered on a rental basis.Proven experience of delivering customer care excellence. Previously occupied a similar type responsible role and understand the tools and recording processes needed to demonstrate continuous improvement.Has the ability and confidence to present and communicate at all levels to customers and colleagues
Knowledge
A sound foundation and knowledge of business financials is required. Knowledge of Atlas Copco services and products would be beneficial as would rental business experience.Must have good IT working knowledge of using Microsoft Office
Educational requirements
University degree in Engineering or Marketing or Business Studies or equivalent through experience
Personality requirements
Possess a 'can-do' attitude and approach. Excellent spoken and written English language. First class communication and interpersonal skills. Team Player.
Country and city description
The role is based out of our Dundee office although candidates need not necessarily have to live in Dundee, as our customer base is predominately Aberdeen. The customer base and territory coverage is NE Scotland and Great Yarmouth if required.
