Sales Engineer - Industrial Air
Job description 
To maximise the sales of the industrial air portfolio, including compressors and ancillary equipment, vacuum, nitrogen and oxygen generation, across the territory through all channels

Key Responsibilities 
To promote the business through the development of the customer base.To undertake proposals, including the calculation of sales prices to achieve sales.To support sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation in order to achieve targets.To support sales through undertaking site surveys and providing technical advice to both existing and potential customers.To ensure that an excellent standard of after sales service is provided.To support the distributor network both technically and commercial to promote new and existing Atlas Copco products. To fully utilise and update iPSM (customer management database).To support sales through the effective provision of sales data, including the timely recording of visit and action reports (including lost order reports) and analysis of sales performance against budget.To promote the business nationally, by supporting the Sales Manager and other team members in achieving sales.To undertake ad-hoc project work as required.

Experience requirements 
Proven sales experience of selling capital equipmentExperience of sales territory managementProven business analysis skillsCurrently working within the compressed air industry

Knowledge 
General PC skillsAbility to work individually and as part of a team Good standard of presentation skills Excellent interpersonal skills

Educational requirements 
HNC/ONC qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Highly motivated, enthusiastic and determined. The successful candidate will be animated, sociable, confident and competent individual who is willing to go the 'extra mile'.
