MICROSOFT SHAREPOINT / .NET / C# DEVELOPER at UNICEF's New York
Required Skills:
Microsoft .NET SharePoint developer to assess user requirements and work with the Business Intelligence team in developing standard dashboards. The consultant must have at least 3-5 years MS development experience which includes SharePoint as well as .NET and C# programming.
Job Details:
This position will be based at UNICEF's New York Headquarter location.
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Participate in the assessment of customer requirements, determine technical feasibility and document results.
  • Draft technical specifications based on functional requirements.
  • Develop BI applications – performance reporting sites, interactive dashboards and scorecards.
  • Perform unit testing.
  • Assist in the creation and enhancement of design and development standards.
  • Ensure in depth application testing and integrate quality into all work.
  • Provide draft user and technical application documentation.
The skills and experience required for this assignment are:
  • 5 years or more developer experience in a corporate or large non-profit setting.
  • Experience with the complete systems development lifecycle process.
  • 3 years direct experience with SharePoint MOSS 2007/2010.
  • Proficiency in using SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and integration to the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 3 years in-depth experience with Web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, XSLT), and ASP.NET concepts
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint MOSS 2007/2010 administration
Duration of the Consultancy: 11 months
Pay Rate: $635 per day
