Humanitarian Aid Campaign Intern
The Intern will engage in ongoing aid campaigns by soliciting, gathering, and inventorying material donations that meet the specific needs of MADE's sister Organizations around the world.

MADRE internships are a great way to gain work experience and support MADRE's work with women and families worldwide.

Internships come with a $15/day stipend and require a minimum time commitment of 15 hours a week for at least three months. Internships take place at the MADRE office in Manhattan.  MADRE offers three internship sessions throughout the year: Summer (June-August), Fall (September-December), and Spring (January-May).
Responsibilities:
  • Engage in ongoing aid campaigns by soliciting, gathering, and inventorying material donations that meet the specific needs of MADRE's sister organizations around the world.
  • Maintain and update large donor and inventory databases.
  • Research women's human rights issues as background for student outreach and new campaign launches.
  • Design and write promotional materials in a variety of media.
  • Assist with planning and execution of donor events and fundraisers.
  • Position may involve lifting and transporting boxes around New York City; interns will also provide occasional administrative support to MADRE staff.
  • Experienced interns may have the opportunity to launch their own humanitarian aid campaigns
