Development Intern

The Intern will assist staff with written communications with funders and follow-up phone calls.

MADRE internships are a great way to gain work experience and support MADRE's work with women and families worldwide.

Internships come with a $15/day stipend and require a minimum time commitment of 15 hours a week for at least three months. Internships take place at the MADRE office in Manhattan.  MADRE offers three internship sessions throughout the year: Summer (June-August), Fall (September-December), and Spring (January-May).

Responsibilities:

• Assist development staff with research on topics related to grant proposals.
• Research funding opportunities (with businesses and religious communities).
• Assist staff with written communications with funders and follow-up phone calls.
• Assist with the maintenance of funder files (electronic and paper).
