Accounting Intern

The Intern will assist with data entry and maintaining electronic files, assist with financial transactions.

MADRE internships are a great way to gain work experience and support MADRE's work with women and families worldwide.

Internships come with a $15/day stipend and require a minimum time commitment of 15 hours a week for at least three months. Internships take place at the MADRE office in Manhattan.  MADRE offers three internship sessions throughout the year: Summer (June-August), Fall (September-December), and Spring (January-May).

Responsibilities: 

• Assist with data entry and maintaining electronic files.
• Assist in the reconciliation of financial transactions.
• Possess thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Possess knowledge of Fund E-Z or a comparable computerized accounting system.
