Job description
Purpose of the position:
The Micro-franchising Pilot Project Manager will take on overall responsibility for the management of the ongoing Micro-franchising Pilot Project. Among their responsibilities, s/he will initiate and manage relationships with key partners (micro-franchise organizations), engage field offices and internal staff towards achieving the goals of the pilot, facilitate project activities such as ADP selection, recruitment, training, etc, and manage the monitoring and evaluation of the project, ensuring that key lessons are captured. As an employee of World Vision Tanzania, the Project Manager will communicate World Vision's Christian ethos and demonstrate a quality of spiritual life that is an example to others.
Major Responsibilities
1.    Develop & manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
2.    Facilitate project activities (e.g. ADP selection, recruitment, training, etc).
3.    Capture learning and build an evidence base on the project approach
4.    Create & disseminate communications materials (case studies, reports etc)
5.    Manage the collection, analysis and reporting of monitoring data
6.    Manage and report on the project budget

Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
•    Educational level required: Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or related field. Project Management or International Development qualifications a bonus.
•    Professional experience: 3-5 years experience in business or economic development. Community development experiences a bonus.
Working Environment / Conditions:
•    Work environment: Office-based with frequent travel to the field
•    Travel: 50% Domestic/international travel is required.
