CCA PLANT OPERATOR

Purpose of the position: Responsible for the management of all activities around the treatment kiln, from loading the vessel to delivery of quality treated poles.

Skills and competencies required:  2-3 years experience in similar production environment● excellent understanding of quality control measures and record keeping in line with ISO 9001 ● Proven supervisory skills and ability to lead a team of gantry workers ● ability to plan, schedule work and manage time ● Knowledge of health and safety procedures and ability to identify hazards ● proven ability to deal with chemicals in a production environment ● proven ability to write, read and speaking both Kiswahili and English

Requirements:  Recognized Diploma or Degree in Forestry, or applied Forestry or Wood technology ● At least 2 - 5 years' experience in similar position ● any appropriate management qualification would be an advantage
