CHAINSAW OPERATOR

Purpose of the position: Responsible for the control of all activities around measuring of timber/poles/trees and cutting to a required standard.

Skills and competencies required:  1 years experience in similar production environment● demonstrate ability to meet and comply to deadlines ● ability to plan, schedule work, manage time and work under minimum supervision ● knowledge ability to plan, schedule work and manage time ● Knowledge of health and safety procedures and ability to identify hazards ● proven ability to work with fuels/oils in a production environment ● proven ability to write, read and speaking both Kiswahili and English

Requirements:  Recognized Diploma or Degree in Forestry, or applied Forestry or Wood technology ● At least 1 years' experience in similar position
