About the project
The project is located in Katavi Region in the South-West part of Tanzania. Provide consultancy services for the supervision of upgrading a 35 km road to Bitumen standard.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil/Bridge/Structural Engineering
- Cumulative experience of at least 10 years in bridge construction supervision
- Experience as a Bridge Engineer in at least 2 road projects of similar nature in the last 10 years
- Must have a working experience of at least 3 years in Sub-Sahara countries
- Fluency in both written and spoken English is mandatory
It would be advantageous to have;
- Experience in the Region
- Working level of fluency in local language(s)
- Knowledge of local culture or administrative system and government organisation
Duration of contract
Approximately 16 Man-months
