ARTISAN -MARINE PAINTING POSITION

Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA) was established under the Ports Act No. 17 Of 2004. The Authority is vested with the obligation and responsibility of developing, managing and promoting Maritime Sector in Tanzania mainland.
The major role of TPA is to enhance the advantages of the geographical position of Tanzania's maritime resources.
In light of the above, TPA invites applications from suit ably qualified and competent applicants to fill the following vacant posts

Artisan I - (Marine Painting) -1 Post.
Station: Dar es Salaam;
Salary Grade: TPGS 4 13.2
Key Responsibility:
Undertake services and maintenance works on marine craft as per scheduled plan.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as planned.
Perform maintenance works at a quality standards.
Perform maintenance works by ensuring safety regulations and health awareness

Job Specifications:
Academic/Basic Qualifications:
Form IV or VI
Professional Qualifications;
Trade Test Grade I in Painting & Sign writing.
Work experience;
At least 3 years working in large Industry
