Tanzania Posts Corporation invites applications from suitable qualified and experienced persons Tanzanians citizens to fill the following vacant Positions
DRIVER III (11 POSTS)
QUALIFICATIONS
• Ordinary secondary Education (F IV) certificate. Advanced Secondary Education (F VI) certificate is an added advantage.
• Advanced practical driving training certificate from a recognized Institute preferably the National Institute of Transport (NIT) or VETA.
• Training in motor vehicle mechanics a recognized Institute/Garage is an added advantage
• Work experience of at least five (5) years in a reputable organization
• Must have a genuine and valid Driving License allowed to drive all type of motor vehicles and motor cycles. License class 'C' and certificate of 'Trade test Grade III'
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Drive corporation motor vehicles and cycles
• Keep motor vehicle/ cycle movement records in log book
• Collect and distribute mail as directed by responsibility officers
• Inspects the vehicle/cycle before and after 'safari' in order to identify defects that may need maintenance and/ or repairs
• Ensure scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance of the vehicle/cycle are timely done
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by responsible officers.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
Will report to the CEO after the probation period.
REMUNERATION
The above post carries competitive remuneration as per the Tanzania Posts Corporation's salary structure.
