DIRECTOR GENERAL AT RUFIJI BASIN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

RUFIJI BASIN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY- RUBADA

CURRENTLY, RUBADA IS ADVERTISED FOR THE POSITION OF DIRECTOR GENERAL.

1.    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: The applicant must be holder master's degree in economics, public administration business, administration, agricultural economics, law or equivalent. The applicant must have 12 years of proven experience of which 8 years' experience should have been  at a sernior managerial position in  a reputable organization. The applicant should also have a long experience with government/ civil service.


2.    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY OF DIRECT GENERAL :
•     Serve as liaison between the board of directors and the directorates of the authority in handling matters of interested to the board.
•     Coordinates the execution of programs, policies and decision which the board of directors approves or adopts.
•     Originate and / approves finance and administrative control to ensure integrated execution of RUBADA programs.
•    Serves as accounting office to ensure timely submission and approval of the annual budget. Budget executions and timely preparation of annual financial report to stake holders.
•    Interpret board instruction to the directors.
•    Report  to the board on the overall efficiency, effectiveness and economy of  RUBADA operations.
•    Develops formal definition and communication of RUBADA programs, policies, procedures, and continued delegation of authority and responsibility.

 REMUNERATION:
•    She/he will be paid an attractive package as per RUBADA scheme of service PGSS 21 respective retention scheme.

•    All applicants must be citizen of Tanzania and not above 50 years old.
