Job Description for Germany Speaking Driver Guide.
Profile:
We are looking for a professional, dedicated, and organized Germany Speaking Driver Guide to join our Team. The individual will be responsible in handling Germany speaking clients, such as Pick –up, Drop – off, transfer, Briefing, translation, game drive, guiding and other duties as assigned by Safari coordinator.
DUTIES:
Ø Pick – up timely and take clients towards approved destinations/drop off point and in accordance with client's program/itinerary from Safari coordinator.
Ø Ensure guests have the best possible Experience at Zara Tanzania Adventures, look after all their questions and queries and deal with all issues in a polite, helpful and responsive manner.
Ø Familiarize yourself with standards expected from Safari department, Assist and make sure that the standards are exceeded.
Ø Communicate with client for any amendment in program and/or flight schedule.
Ø Ensure that valid documents and permits are acquired prior commencement of any Trip.
Ø Ensure accurate information is provided to all clients with respect to Safari Department.
Ø Achieve budgeted targets for the department with emphasis on maintaining previously agreed upon quality and service standards.
Ø Maintain motor vehicle log books and record all movements as instructed.
Ø Make pre-inspection to the assigned vehicle at all times.
Ø Report promptly accidents or incidents involving the vehicles to the relevant authority.
Ø Ensure that the vehicle assigned to him/her is maintained, serviced regularly and kept clean.
Ø Undertake minor mechanical repairs.
Ø Take vehicles due for routine maintenance/repair to the appointed service agents by the company.
Ø Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Ø Minimum Qualification holder of Certificate of Secondary Education with good score in English Language.
Ø Must have excellent command of the Germany and English language from recognized institution, any other foreign language will be an added advantage.
Ø Must have attended PSV course with a valid class C driving license from a recognized Institution and driving experience of 3-5 years with accident free record.
Ø Should have a knowledge of all the Tanzanian National Parks and Game reserves.
Ø Must have good Knowledge of East African flora and Fauna with good command in interpretation.
Ø Must be a well-organized, communicate effectively, and proven decision making abilities.
Ø Applicants are required to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends and night schedule as necessary.
Ø Should be a Tanzanian Citizen.
Ø Ability to work well under pressure.
Ø Courteous and smart in appearance.
