Content Creators

Eneza is seeking Content Creators to work on a 3 months contract basis (part-time consultancy) with the possibility of a renewal. The Content Creators will work directly with the Content Manager and Operations Manager, creating high quality educational content for students' use on mobile phones throughout the country.

Currently, we provide products to 60,000+ students, teachers and parents across every region of Kenya through SMS, USSD, mobile web and web technology.

Job Specs:

• Create revision quizzes for subjects covered in the Kenyan syllabus.
• Create original content through extensive study and research into syllabus.
• Upload set quizzes onto the Eneza Education Company platform.
• Continuously review questions to ensure quality and conformity with curriculum requirements.
• Post quizzes free of grammatical, formatting and spelling errors.
• Available for/when called upon to attend job related activities e.g trainings, workshops.
• Assume  responsibility of company resources and materials entrusted to you.
• Treat company information with absolute confidentiality.

Requirements for the position:

• A minimum of a bachelors degree in education
• 3+ years of experience as a teacher
• Thorough knowledge of the 8-4-4 primary syllabus
• Proficiency in English and Kiswahili (written and spoken)
• Ability to vary questions to test all levels of knowledge.
• Must be extremely organized, flexible and passionate about education
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with management staff
• Clear understanding of plagiarism
• Excellent editing skills with impeccable attention to detail
• Excellent computer skills: MS Office, email, internet research
• Must be able to adhere to deadlines
• Good communication and listening skills
• Ability to work remotely under minimal supervision

Salary/Benefits:

• The payment is per the number of good quality quizzes submitted
• Employment is on contract basis with possibility of extension
