Good neighbors Tanzania(GNTZ) was established in 2005 and its activity has been carried out in both Da r es sallam, Mwanza and Dodoma.in particular GNTZ  regional is located in mwanza has worked with National institute for medical research(NIMR)Mwanza center as a collaborative partner for NTDs(Neglected tropical diseases)control program  in lake zone since 2008.

Maternal health project

Was developed  so as to improve the health of a women especially women of child bearing age and their children, to support and strengthening health system so as to provide care to women and decrease deaths among women and children in 12 wards,kishapu,mwadui luhumbo , bunambi,mwadui luhumbo,ukenyenge,kiloleli,gofila,seke bugoro and lagano wards in kishapu district in Shinyanga region

Position – Drivers 2 posts

Direct entry Qualification

• Form four with class C driving license
• Must gain experience in working as a driver for atleast 3 years
• Must have sober habits
• Self motivated with demonstrated ability to work effectively with colleague in a team
• Must be fluent in oral and written Kiswahili and English
• Must have clean driving history
• Experience in VIP driving will be added advantage
• Skills and work experience
• High level of integrity and ability to work as part of professional team
• Ability to self manage, achieve results and meet deadlines
• Willgness to work beyond the call of dut

Duties and responsibilities

• Drivers should drive with safety and consider security at all times.
• Drivers should clean and care for car by himself at all times.
• Prepare vehicles by conducting operator maintance
• Performs work in the Shinyanga and project sites to assure safe transportation of staff to and from various destination and assist clients on entry and exit from vehicles as necessary
• Provide transport to all headquarters staff from outstation and communities and field sites
• Responsible for proper loading and security of freight to prevent movement and allow safe transport. Assist loading and unloading as required
• Report all accident and incidents involving drivers or organization equipment
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Perform vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance before and during and after trip responsible brake adjustment tire chain ups and minor repairs as needed while on the road
• Follow all organization procedures and standards
• Adhere to all safety requirements particular to the equipment including vehicle safety regulation
• Maintain vehicles inventory
• Prepare and ensure safety and proper parking of all organization vehicles
• Liaise and coordinating with land transportation authority on matters related to all vehicles registration

• Undertake any  other  related duties assigned by Managing Director
