PSI Tanzania is searching for a Head of Marketing to play a lead role in PSI's marketing strategy development and ensuring our plans are fit for purpose to deliver on both business and donor objectives and even greater health impact.  We are seeking a strong people leader who possesses excellent analytical and problem solving skill and a passion for using data to make strategic decisions and deploy budgets and resource to deliver results in a cost effective way. A results driven self-starter you are able to work autonomously and self-motivate as well as being a compelling and effective communicator with strong interpersonal and business expertise and a track record of managing cross-functional teams. You are enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable as well as being digitally savvy and passionate about innovation with demonstrable successes in launching new products, services, and processes.

YOU WILL
  • Instill advanced FMCG and Ethical Products and Services marketing discipline
  • Lead the annual planning , development, and execution of best in class marketing plans
  • Create innovative methods to test-market and scale new products and services
  • Increase the degree of our data-driven decision making resulting in better consumer and market insight, increased efficiencies, and maximum impact.
  • Leverage technology to update and refresh our marketing mix decisions
  • Manage and inspire seven staff (and indirectly manage field-based communication teams) to drive operating and performance improvements in Tanzania.
  • Have a post graduate qualification and have at least 8-10 years' experience.

Our team is fast-paced and we like to find time for fun. This position is based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
