The successful candidate will also analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide status reports to project manager and team lead.
The main responsibilities may include:
Lead the development streams in a project, performing effort estimates, assigning tasks to other developers, following up on the overall progress, ensuring overall quality and providing status reports to the project manager, when required; Develop software and create and perform unit tests, integration tests and performance tests, as needed; Create and maintain project-related technical documentation, including design and deployment documentation, in cooperation with the Architecture Team; Perform any other related tasks as requested by the line manager.
Your profile:
We are looking for ICT Senior Specialists from all EU Member States, who have:
- At least 6 years of experience in Software Development;
- Professional experience in the following areas: Tasking, coordinating and supervising the work of other developers; Performing effort estimates based on models; Iterative software development methodologies; Custom-software development and integration projects; Microsoft .NET technologies, including ASP.NET;
- Professional knowledge of: MS SQL Server and/or Oracle; continuous integration practices and experience with using a CI-server (e.g. TFS, Team City, etc).
Monthly salary: EUR 4648 (net without allowance) and approx. EUR 6600 (net with allowances – if applicable).
In addition, if applicable, allowances such as expatriation allowance, household allowance, dependent child allowance and education may be granted. Europol also offers a comprehensive welfare package.
