MARKET ANALYST ASSOCIATE



MARKET ANALYST ASSOCIATE Global Partner Solutions (GPS) Limited is an International Trade and Development Consultancy. We are seeking a Market Analyst Associate to provide support with various client projects. This position is project based and will be for an initial duration of 3 months with a possibility of extension. A core component of the Associates role involves intensive field work and engaging directly with consumers and clients in the market to obtain data. You will work closely with the Business Development Consultant and Director of GPS and will have full access to the firm's training, resources, and experts to help you grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities

As a Market Analyst Associate, you will be responsible for conducting detailed market research and presenting the summarized findings to the internal team to enable them to execute client projects. In this role, understanding the unique nature of the market and the ability to engage directly with consumers and clients are essential. You will have several areas of accountability including but not limited to
:
• Supporting the development of data collection tools
• Identifying key trends and summarizing data through industry research
• Field work by engaging directly with consumers and clients to obtain key data
• Compiling presentations and delivering them to key stakeholders
• Providing support in summarizing and writing market analysis reports
• General administrative duties troubleshooting inquires, scheduling meetings, organizing conferences and large group meetings
• Creating and formatting documents in Word, Excel and Power Point
• Handling confidential information with a high level of discretion and sensitivity
• Performing other internal and client-facing duties as assigned

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated passion for working in teams and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of one year experience in a similar sales or business development role
• Proficiency with the MS Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point

Core Requirements
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English and KiSwahili
• Must be organized and able to plan, adapt to changing requirements, and show desire to take lead
• Creative thinker who is able to think outside the box and make unorthodox connections
• Demonstrates curiosity, a passion to learn and gain solid work experience
• Keen understanding of Tanzania's economic and social dynamics
• Possesses a positive attitude and demonstrates respect, confidentiality, and honesty when interacting with colleagues and clients
