Electrician - (1 Post)
Reporting Line: Electrical First Line Leader
Location: Buzwagi Gold Mine; Kahama District; Shinyanga Region.
Work Schedule: 6 days on; 1 day off
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-
Ensure total adherence to all Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental Policies of PML, as well as other policies, procedures and guidelines.
Complete required testing and safety checks on specified electrical equipment.
Provide accurate and timely feedback to your Supervisor on conditions that may affect functionality of equipment.
Carry out troubleshooting, fault finding and corrective maintenance in order to solve unplanned equipment unavailability events.
Ensure Supervisors and all stakeholders are kept informed on equipment availability status.
Ensure the Oracle maintenance management system is utilized as required by the Electrical Supervisor.
• Under the direction of the Electrical Supervisor, provide appropriate on-the-job training and coaching to less experience personnel.
• Follow Safe Work Procedures and other maintenance procedures.
Be proactive in all aspects of Process Plant security to prevent and eliminate theft and fraud.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:-Education Requirements:
• Electrical Trade test qualification.
Experience Requirements:
Two years practical work experience in electrical maintenance. Previous maintenance experience in industrialized plant is beneficial.
Practical skills in maintenance practices and electrical knowledge.
