The African Centre for Technology Studies (ACTS) is seeking suitable candidates for the position ofExecutive Director (ED)who reports to an international Governing Council. This position requires an energetic person with experience of research, policy analysis, advocacy and fund-raising. In addition, the ED is expected to provide overall scientific leadership of the Centre, set the direction of its research and dissemination programmes, develop and articulate strategies and operational plans, and managerial leadership.
The Director is expected to take a leading role in ensuring the steady flow of programme grants and collaborative research activities.
