As technical partner, LFS supports AccessHolding in the management of their network banks. In January 2012, LFS has started a long-term project to foster capacity building of local staff with an emphasis on middle and senior management development. In this context, AccessHolding plans to establish a dedicated Learning Centre, which bundles local training efforts and thus responds to the management development needs of the network banks on a regional level. LFS now seeks a Project Manager to support the establishment of the Learning Centre. 

About the Role  
  • Develop a business plan for the Learning Centre and identify and obtain financial resources,
  • Design program curricula in cooperation with the LFS Learning & Development Department
  • Assume overall coordination for the development of Learning Centre courses (including learning objectives, contents, methodologies and materials)
  • Coordinate and supervise physical setting up and equipping of Learning Centre facilities
  • Manage and coordinate the roll-out of learning events
  • Review, evaluate and further develop training courses
  • Ensure communication and cooperation between Learning Centre, AccessHolding and local bank management 
  • Select and manage the Learning Centre team
  • Implement tracking tools to ensure the effectiveness and budgetary control of the Learning Centre

Required Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in establishing and/or maintaining a learning facility, (i.e. a corporate university or training centre) in a commercial environment
  • Evidence of successful project implementation across multiple locations
  • Proven track record in the design and implementation of management development programs including curricula development, course design and training delivery
  • Fluent English necessary, working knowledge of French would be an advantage
  • Readiness to travel at least 50% of the working time, with option for relocation at a later stage
  • Work experience in a finance-related industry in developing countries would be an advantage
